Sweet Victory: Chocolate Almond Crunch Cups You’ll Actually Feel Good About

I have a major sweet tooth, but I still like to keep my treats on the lighter side — something I can enjoy after a workout, a long day on the course, or even sneak into the kids’ lunches. Enter: Chocolate Almond Crunch Cups.

They taste like a candy bar but are made with clean ingredients — almond butter, dark chocolate, and a little honey for sweetness. They’re no-bake, freezer-friendly, and totally “mom-approved.” Bonus: they look so good in photos, which makes them perfect for your 19th hole snack or a blog-worthy treat.

Ingredients (makes 10–12 mini cups)

  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips (60–70% cacao)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond butter (or peanut butter)
  • ¼ cup crushed almonds or rice crisps
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • Pinch of sea salt

Directions

  1. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in 20-second microwave bursts until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, mix almond butter, honey, and crushed almonds (or rice crisps).
  3. Spoon 1 tsp melted chocolate into mini muffin liners, add a spoonful of the almond mixture, then cover with more chocolate.
  4. Sprinkle sea salt on top.
  5. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Pro Tips

  • Add espresso powder to the chocolate for a mocha twist.
  • Swap almond butter for peanut butter if that’s your thing.
  • Store in the fridge or freezer — they’re amazing chilled!
