Tee Time Traditions: Hendrix’s Golf Tournament Day

There’s something so special about tournament mornings in our house—the quiet hum of excitement, the smell of sunscreen, and the sound of zippers zipping golf bags. These days have become little traditions we all look forward to, filled with early wake-ups, smoothies, and lots of cheering.

The Strawberry Swing Smoothie Start

We always kick off tournament mornings with our Strawberry Swing Smoothie—a kid-approved, golfer-fueled favorite. It’s packed with strawberries, banana, protein powder, and almond milk for just the right amount of energy before a long day on the course.

Want the full recipe? It’s up on the blog—perfect for golfers of all ages!

Getting Dressed: Foxden Fairways Polos for the Win

There’s just something about slipping on that crisp Foxden Fairways polo that gets us in the zone. The kids look so sharp and confident—and let’s be honest, adorable. It’s fun letting them pick their color combos the night before, and it always feels like we’re part of a little team.

Packing Up: Clubs, Snacks & Good Vibes

Before heading out, we do a final check of the essentials:

It’s amazing how much stuff fits into those little bags when you’re packing for a day of fun and focus.

Range Time = Game Time

We like to get to the course early so we can loosen up on the range. The kids hit a few balls, practice their putting, and most importantly, settle those nerves. It’s a great reminder that we’re here to play our best and have a good time.

Teeing Off: Let’s Play!

From the first swing to the final putt, watching your kid play their heart out on the course is such a joy. Whether it’s a great shot or a tough hole, we remind him that effort and attitude matter most. And every round comes with a lesson—sometimes about golf, sometimes about life.

There’s something magical about these tournament days.
It’s not just about the score—it’s about the memories, the growth, the giggles in the golf cart, and those little moments you tuck away forever. We’ll never forget these early rounds and the way golf brings our family together.

Until the next tee time… stay fueled, stay playful, and always swing with heart.
